Continuous improvement to serve a dynamic and constantly growing market, that is one of the goals of the company. To do this, year by year, we work to adapt production plants and industrial processes to an increasingly demanding market, where quality and agility are necessary to respond to any customer.
After completing the expansion works of 2017, we have addressed different investments in both our Nalda and Navarrete plants, all aimed at increasing and improving production.
We have invested in the latest generation weighing and labeling systems, in order to adapt the meat trays to the demands of our customers, customizing formats, designs and allowing the incorporation of any type of information in the labeling like QR codes or NUTRISCORE, etc.
We have more precise filling systems, in order to achieve an accurate dosage, and automatic packers and strappers that guarantee perfect transport and handling, very important for our transfonterizo customers. We also have more loading docks for easy loading and unloading.
On the other hand, a new plant safety system has been put in place that allows us to comply with Food Defense measures, in line with our commitment to food quality and safety.
In Navarrete we have incorporated extractors to renew the air, avoid condensation and control both temperatures and pollutions, and new hygiene control systems have been incorporated into the entrance of the production area.
Our commitment to the environment has led us to install protection panels to increase insulation, as well as a water treatment system s for the reduction of waste.
It should be noted that, in order to be able to deal with all these investments, the contribution of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, as well as the Economic Development Agency of La Rioja, which, together with the Alejandro Miguel Group, have co-financed the action has been fundamental.
