We, the Alejandro Miguel Group, have orientated our philosophy of work to elaborate pork products of the best and maximum quality, betting on two brands: Duroc é iberica
The base of our work is our vertical integration and our deep knowledge of meat. A very strict control of choosing the genetic lineages has given us the place of birth of our Duroc cattle e ibericos.
Duroc pigs are being bred in our very own farmhouses. They meat are the juiciest, most tender and with an incomparable taste. It’s texture is what our clients and consumers value the most.
In Extremadura we nurture our cattle ibericos. All phases of their growth are being well controlled and monitored with the aim of obtaining the best, biggest, and with more infiltrated fat to be able to sell in the market authentic delicacies that could and would be easily referred to.
CONSCIOUS ABOUT ANIMAL WELFARE, ALL OUR FARMS ENSURE PROPER GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR CATTLE
Our foremost concern is and will always be the importance and wellbeing of our animals, were-in we have in all our farmhouses the right control that would guaranty the enjoyment of our animals and a reasonable and fair treatment, with adequate installations during all phases of their growth.
We can assure the development of our cattle through their entire phase of growth, and for that reason we follow our highest standard of security as well as the quality of their food.
The importance and necessity that is provided in this entire process is our absolute supervision, from the birth of our cattle to the proper and clean farmhouses, plus, the strict supervision of an experienced team, perfectly qualified for this job, and to continue the entire process in its productive chain and reaching up to our consumer’s hands.
WE MAKE OUR OWN FODDER FROM NATURAL CEREALS TO ENSURE PROPER FEEDING TO THE ANIMAL FROM BIRTH TO SLAUGHTER
We carefully choose the natural ingredients so that the right food be given to our cattle Duroc from the moment of birth till they are sacrificed. The right amount and quality of food given, plus their genetic lineage, are the reasons why our cattle can be distinguished or characterize as our very top of the line goods.
Our cattle ibericos are being cared in Extremadura, surrounded by oaks and alcornoque trees, which from these trees its fruit together with the careful selection of cereals are the base of their food. With these samples we outline the iberico products of Altadehesa, which is known as the “jewel of gastronomy”.
